Children’s Centres have all the services that parents need for children under five all together in one place. 

They aim to help parents make sure their children get the best start in life. They open at least 10 hours a day, five days a week, 48 weeks a year.

Children's Centres have:

• Early learning and full daycare for children under five.
• Access to child and family health care and advice.
• Support for parents and families including drop in sessions and outreach services.
• Networks of childminders.
• Links with training and employment.

There are plans for over 40 Children’s Centres across Norfolk by 2013.
